Micronutrients for the vitreous body of the eyes

VitroCap® VitroCap® is a dietary food for special medical purposes (balanced diet). Its composition is directed to the increased demand for special micronutrients of the eyes of patients with degenerations of the vitreous body.
VitroCap® capsules contain specially prepared plant ingredients from grape seeds and citrus fruits as well as vitamin C and the amino acid L-lysine.

Research has shown that L-lysine and flavonoids (among these hesperidin) inhibit the clumping of collagen fibers of the vitreous body by glucose and free radicals. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant in aqueous media and neutralizes free radicals. Procyanidines from the extract of grape seeds modulate the enzyme activity collagenase and elastase *.
